We provide two specialist translation services for the UK legal aid sector: Legal Aid Translation at our published legal-aid service rates and Certified Translation for official use.
Legal Aid Translation
Professional document translation at current Legal Aid Agency rates for solicitors and law firms handling legally aided cases. We translate court bundles, witness statements, CAFCASS reports, threshold documents, expert reports, and other documents required in legal aid proceedings.

Our published rates are £100 per 1,000 source words for civil and family matters and £109 per 1,000 source words for criminal matters. Certified Translation
Certified translations can be prepared for use with UK courts, the Home Office, HMCTS and other receiving bodies. Requirements vary by organisation and case type, so the required certification should be confirmed before submission. Our standard certification can include our agency stamp, an authorised signature and a statement confirming the translation is true and accurate.
Documents we certify: Birth certificates, marriage certificates, death certificates, diplomas and degrees, academic transcripts, contracts, wills, powers of attorney, passports, company documents, medical records, and more.
Additional services: Notarised translation, sworn translation, and apostille certification are available for documents requiring international legal authentication.

Pricing is calculated from the source document and confirmed in the quotation. Legal-aid funding, recoverability and prior-authority requirements depend on the individual matter. Certification, formatting and delivery requirements are confirmed as part of the agreed scope.
